Who we are

CROSS Design is a structural engineering company from Romania, founded in 2009.

Ten years ago, we turned a dream into reality. We were determined to lose the usual engineering approach that often told us “this cannot be done” or “that is not possible”, a direct result of simple convenience or lack of knowledge and professional preparation of teams on the market. We witnessed this type of attitude turn into faulty projects, execution errors and compromises in the quality of the entire construction, all the things we wanted to distance ourselves from as professionals.

This is why CROSS Design was born, with the mission to offer innovative solutions, a customized approach and a can-do attitude deeply rooted in a better understanding of our clients’ and partners’ needs and objectives, but also in a solid practical experience and educational background.

Our management team

CROSS Design is a team led by Adrian Vasilescu and Horia Mihnea, two Romanian entrepreneurs with more than 10 years of experience in the fields of engineering and construction, with direct experience in reinforced concrete structures and in technical expertise of existing buildings (including historical monuments).

Ever since college, they wanted to change the manner in which design was being done in Romania.

This is why they are continuously innovating, being committed to providing the best structural solutions, considering the particularities of each project and always integrating the latest technologies and approaches.
